INNOVATION SESSION
Online Trade Pre-Clearance Automation
Trade clearance historically has been a manual and often lengthy process that may have required several calls and emails between compliance, legal, and E*TRADE representatives for approval. Meanwhile, clearing trades for some of your top executives can be an up-to-the-minute, high-demand process in which time is of the essence. To help streamline this process, reduce risk, and increase speed and communication, we designed and launched a groundbreaking new online pre-clearance automation solution. Now, through a few simple online steps, the stock plan administration team can set up clearance online, and participants can receive email alerts and see trading windows open in their E*TRADE account. Join us in this session to see the powerful new process in action.

REPORTING
Science and Mother Nature as a Guidepost for Compensation Setting
A recent academic study calculated the exact amount of wind drag in every position of a traditional cycling Peloton. Geese fly in a V formation, and fish swim in schools to help with dynamics and efficiency. What does this have to do with LTI and compensation setting? Can the resistance as calculated by science be extrapolated to your total rewards? Learn more about how this new academic study can be leveraged across traditional organizational hierarchies and as a validation for your rewards process. Should the scientific data be inclusive of base pay, STI, LTI, or the full rewards equation? Learn more about this innovative new study with the researchers.

EPS: Back to the Basics and Dilutives of Equity Plan Impact to Shareholders
Earnings per share (EPS) is one of the most significant pieces of information a public company has to track and disclose on a regular basis, and a company’s equity grants can have a big impact on how those numbers are reported. There are very specific requirements on how this grant impact is to be reported, but the causes of certain changes to those numbers are often a mystery. This session aims to break down the concepts of EPS, both basic and dilutive, along with the patterns that certain changes in the marketplace or within an equity plan can have on these numbers over time. This course is designed for someone who is new to equity reporting or who wants to gain a clearer understanding of how equity grants impact a company EPS disclosure.
